Embark on wildlife drives in Lake Manyara National Park (keeping your eyes open for the elusive tree-climbing lions), meet one of the researchers at the Serengeti Wildlife Centre, Experience some of the best wildlife viewing in the world amid the landscapes of Tanzania.

Adventure Details

Day 1: Arrival  at the Kilimanjaro International Airport.

You will welcomed by our representative who will usher you into a waiting vehicle and transfer you to the Hotel in Arusha. Our representative will have a short safari briefing session with you at the Hotel and leave you to relax and have dinner. Impala Hotel.

Day 2: Drive from Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast at the lodge you leave early to the Tarangire National park. This is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the life blood of the park. Many animals; predators and the preys alike gather around the river where you can do excellent game viewing.

Day 3: Serengeti Passing Through Olduvai Gorge

After breakfast depart 07:30 for Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge, the site of the Leakey family discovery of fossils 50 km long and in some places 90 metres deep. It drains the slopes of the nearby mountains plus of human and animal ancestors dating back to almost two million years. Olduvai Gorge is a canyon carved by water through the southern part of the Serengeti Plain. The gorge is about the Serengeti Plain. Its chief claim to fame is the rich treasure-trove of human and animal fossils that it has yielded.

Day 4: Full day in Serengeti Park.

This day after breakfast at 07:00 we will take your packed lunch for a full day game drives in the wilderness tracking the Great migration trails. Thorough explanation about this great world event that Tanzania proud of will be provided. And in the evening as the sun goes down, drive back to the Serengeti wildlife lodge or Ikoma tented camp for dinner and overnight

Day 5:Tour from  Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast we will start at 08:00 drive to Ngorongoro Crater, passing through Olduvai Gorge, the site of the Leakey family discovery of fossils 50 km long and in some places 90 metres deep. Day 6: Drive to Ngorongoro Crater

This day we will start early morning at 07:00 for the game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds and other species. Your Driver/Guide will be in contact with other safari drivers and will amaze you with his skill at locating the hidden animals. After great all exploration in crater the drive will drive back to your lodge. For overnight and dinner at your lodge,

Day 7: Safari to Lake Manyara

We depart at 07:00 from your lodge and proceed to Lake Manyara National Park. Although small in size, this park is one of the most diverse reserves in the country. Lake Manyara covers two thirds of the park. At the backdrop is the wall of the Great Rift Valley, before which lies the ground water forest, areas of open grassland near the lake foreshore, and the Soda Lake. We enjoy a picnic lunch in this area, which consists of open grassy areas, hot springs, dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Lake Manyara National Park is a birding paradise that has more than 350 species of bird. The park is also famed for its unique and elusive tree-climbing lions. After great all exploration in the lake manyara national park we will drive back to Arusha for overnight.
